Friern Barnet and Finchley Photo Archive

In June 2024 a walk was developed and presented as part of the London Festival of Architecture, exploring in North Finchley how the Finchley Society was first started, ways the Society has cared for Finchley and considering the future of Finchley. A Finchley Church End Town Centre walk was subsequently developed, which has also been well received by members of the public. The Finchley Society is pleased to let you know that they have joined with the Friern Barnet Historical Society and this wonderful and informative photo archive website. To allow for images to be added from the Finchley Society Archive, extra Finchley linked districts and albums have been created. We hope that you will also upload and comment on images of Finchley past and present as you have been so enthusiastically up to now for Friern Barnet and beyond.
