Hi Alan I remember you from Hillside I was there from 1959-1963.We were in the same class.My name then was Patricia (Pat) Brown. Still live locally in Friern Barnet in the same road as Helen!!

Hi Pat…. We’ll blast from the past and yes I remember you well. Long hair and very pretty. I’ve been half way around England and have finally ended up in Norwich with my wife 2 children 4 grandchildren and 2 poodles. I am still friendly with Bruce Rosengarten if you remember him and Max Papier

Thank you for your lovely comments. I do remember Bruce Rosengarten but not Max. Somewhere I have a form photograph taken when I was in my 2nd year at Hillside. I can remember some of the guys in the photo - Gordon Tuttlebury, Peter Kerslake, Alan Davies, Ray Monk. Richard Hopkirk, Leslie Hinton, Andre Bryant. Do you remember any of these names? I also remember you had a brother called David and you lived in Arundle Crt.

Hi Pat.I remember Peter Kerslake and Ray Monk . My brother still lives in Barnet and I remember walking down the hill at home time and chatting with your Mum over tha garden gate . The only interest I really had at school was training and when I left spent 3 years playing for Crystal Palace FC and then Barnet before moving to Oxford. I’ve found some pics which I will post on here and gosh did they bring back memories . Julie Edward’s, Barbara Madden and the gorgeous Lorraine Ashby also Peter Barkle and his sister who was head girl when I was head boy , Peter Cole’s and his mate who’s name I can’t remember……old age !! also David Dalrymple to name a few. I hope you and your family have a nice Xmas .Alan

Patricia Brown, you conjure long-forgotten memories. but warm ones indeed. I remember most of those you mention. Ginger haired Tuttlebury, and my good friend Andre Bryant. Very occasionally my thoughts go back to my childhood and I wonder how my school colleagues have fared. Finding this site has been both cathartic and nostalgic. I hope you have all had wonderful lives.
