1892 FRIERN BARNET FOR SALE! at least a large part of it.An unknown newspaper with advert dated June 7th 1892,offers at auction Lot 1 The Manor House (later the golf course and clubhouse) plus a large tract of land between Friern Barnet Lane and Oakleigh Rd. North. Frontage to Friern Barnet Lane c. 1200 yds (1112 metres), to Oakleigh Rd. N. c. 550 yds (511 metres).
Lot 3 was Friern Lodge, later the site of Friern Court.
