The pub was named after the Tally Ho stage coach company that had stables nearby. Prior to the building of the current pub in 1927 there was the Park Road Hotel. The pub has given its name to the local area

I drank here as a 17 year old, when I was an apprentice with a company called Simms Motors in Edinburgh. We had to come down to Finchley for 6 weeks for training

My husband used to work opposite the Tally Ho in Pulham butchers. We used stand at the bus stop opposite many a night when we had the blackouts.

I lived in Stanhope Road when the bombs fell in 1942. I am now 87 years
