Comments:
My grandparents used to live at number 1059 then moved to 1061 in the early 1970s. It had a lovely long garden, a garage which still retained the original stable door and horse stalls and the house itself was full of original features. I'd love to see more photographs of the house if any exist?

Funnily enough, when I showed this photo to my Uncle, I had the following reply regarding the photographer......"he (the photographer) was a train spotter I met when we lived at The Hollies in Oakleigh Park North; he was much older and lived in Gallants Farm Road - the other side of the railway line; he came to tea with us once". Small world!
