Finchley open-air swimming pool c1960
Finchley open-air swimming pool. Opposite my old school, Finchley County Grammar. In the summer older pupils were allowed to use the pool during lunch breaks. Happy days!

My Mother took me there when I was a baby about 1936. I swam there until I was 18 years old. Such happy memories, we had lovely picnics. It was disaster when the council pulled it down.
