TramsLondon Transport car number 2167. This was originally number 330 in MET's fleet and was one of the experimental Feltham cars. This particular car usually ran on Service 40 (North Finchley - Cricklewood) but here the service number is shown as 9, the destination is New Southgate and the notice in the window refers to Service 39, New Southgate - Bruce Grove. This, together with what looks like new paintwork, seems to indicate that this was a specially posed photograph, presumably taken in Finchley Depot shortly after London Transport was formed in 1933 (photo by A Camwell)
