Comrie House School, 185 Friern Park
Comrie House school sports day. I think it must be about 1949 - yours truly clearing the bar - or not! I believe Mr Harnden, in the hat, is officiating; & the name Robert Phillips comes to mind, as the responsible lad stopping the post falling over, but I could be quite wrong there!

My brother, John Locket was at Comrie from about 1940-50. My sister, Sandra Robbins and I (Gillian Robbins) were there 1945 - 54 ish. I loved every minute there.

I was one of the entrants in this 1949 sports day, John Bee. I remember that Sally Davis won the cup, which I won the next year in 1950. I also fought Robert Phillips in a school boxing match, which he won
