Since 1966 I have lived in Brunswick Grove and I have very fond memories of this church. It stood at the end of my road. The hall was used for many events including the monthly meeting of Young Wives. At this meeting all our children were looked after by "Aunty Ethel", a kindly lady who lived just across the road from the church, and then we 'wives' were able to concentrate on the meeting. This could be anything from The Electricity Board with their new cookers on show, to perhaps a speaker on Birth Control! Also at the back of the church was the huge garden and this was always put to good use holding fetes and fun days etc. Happy Days!
