Hi David, I havent lived in England for years but remember Times furniture Store used to be where The Brand shop is now. I remember mum and dad buying furniture fom there, In fact I purchased my dining room suite and bedroom suite in 1966 from Times just before I got married in the June at Christ Church.

I use to work in Woolworths along the road on Saturdays. My sister Marilyn worked in Toni hairdressers right next to the Gaumont agt Tally Ho Corner. This would have been in about 1957.
