New Coronation Cinema, High Road, New Southgate

The cinema opened in 1930, and was a popular venue until it closed in 1952. This is the only photo I have of the cinema building, taken just before demolition in 1970. If anyone has a better one, or any taken when it was open, I would be pleased to see them.

The cinema closed on the 25th. of March 1953, in respect of the passing of Queen Mary the Queen Mother the previous evening, and never re-opened.
