I went to Arnos Grove Secondary Modern with a Valerie Martin. We used to be good friends. Didn't you used to march with these boys. Your dad used to be in charge of them. I came to New Zealand in 1965 where I still live but I used to live in High Road looking up Station Road (my Dad had the barbers) and these boys used to march past the house sometimes

Hi Lynn I'm pleased that you contacted me, the years seem to go by so quickly don't they! I remember going to Maurice Jays with you and your family. did you keep in touch with Diane Ford? I have kept in touch with the Angela and Elizabeth and Ann davis. Did Elaine join you in NZ?. I seem to spend so much time looking back but they were good times.
Take care, keep safe. Val

Hi Val here we are into another year again. those school days are a long time ago. In answer to your questions my sister Elaine kept in touch with Diane Ford for a while. I don't remember Angela and Elizabeth but I remember Ann Davis. My sister came to New Zealand in 1972 with her husband and 3 sons and then my parents followed a short time later. My parents are both gone now but Elaine and I live in the same small town at the top of the South Island. We have 3 sons each, hers are still in NZ but mine are in Australia, UK and America. Good to make contact and take care. Lyn
