I went to this lovely primary school from 1957 to 1963. Well remember the outside toilets & tramping through the path the school caretaker had made for us! We used to have the school sports day at the Rec. Mrs Wimpress was the Headmistress followed by Mr Newman. Was very sad to leave.

It was a lovely school.Mr Newman was a wonderful teacher. He introduced us to The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings years before they became popular. I seem to remember he knew Tolkien from University.
