Comments:
I am a family historian researching the Crawshay family as a distant ancestor of mine married Edmond Crawshay. I would dearly love to see more of these photographs as I have been looking for a picture of Edmond and Mary Crawshay for a long time. Please, please contact me if you can help with my research.

My family the Hills took the house over. Possibly 1888. George Hill, merchant died there, Daughter Constance ran a girl's school there until 1900. Then it became dilapidated and was finally demolished.
