My mum and dad had the second shop up on the RHS until early 70's. When we moved into the shop around 1957, there was a very narrow road very close to the shop either where the boarding is or just below it where there appears to be a road entrance. I cannot remember its name but it was up from Palmers and below Lower Park.

Following my previous comment I think the unknown road may have been called Curtis Road.
