Cemetery Signal Box This signal box was originally built for the short lived railway service to the Great Northern Cemetery (now New Southgate Cemetery & Crematorium). It stood in front of the STC factory, and it was signed CEMETERY UP. (ie. London bound). When the CEMETERY DOWN box opposite was demolished, the UP on this one was removed, (see the gap on the sign). It was used until 1973, when it too was demolished. (Photo taken by David Cockle)q

Was there ever a down 'box? No maps or photo graphs show the box.

Can someone explain what that building is? Is that where Regal Drive is now?
