Andrew sadly passed away on 13/5/2019, I'm Brian his elder brother and have just found this site. Would love to join next meeting. Yes I think that is Andy on left of picture.

I attended Garfield Road school between 1957 and 1960. Apart from what looks like a gym climbing frame on the back wall, it looks exactly the same! I remember school dinners there. I believe my father went to the school too!

So sorry to hear of Andrew's passing Brian, we were good friends at Garfield Road primary but lost touch when Andrew went to Oakliegh? secondary and I went to Minchenden in 1968. I have fond memories our school years and many is the time we would be around his/your house rifling through your back copies of Private Eye, which I still read to-day. I think that may be me in the front of the photo with my back to camera and with dark hair
