That may be me in the shorts with my shirt hanging out, looks like my haircut and I would have been 9 or 10 then. I do remember the trips to Arnos Grove swimming pool where I learnt to swim, and a trip to the Mermaid Theatre to see Treasure Island starring Bernard Miles (although that may have been in my first year at Secondary School). I also remember a Miss Inskip (Inkpen?), when a Knight won his spurs being sung in assembly, sliding on the ice down the middle of the playground, playing Miggies with marbles on the drain covers, crossing your fingers and shouting Feignites when you wanted a pause in a game
