Odeon, North Finchley
The Odeon at 894 High Road, North Finchley photographed nearing completion. Th cinema opened 14 October 1935 and had seats for 1296 (878 in the stalls and 418 in the circle), slightly smaller than Barnet Odeon which had seating for 1553 and a lot smaller than the Gaumont North Finchley (2165 seats). The cinema closed its doors for the last time on 26 december 1964 after which it eventually became Furnitureland and which was subsequently demolished in 2013. The door number is not 804, but 886-902. Also, this was a Peugeot dealership before it became FurnitureLand.
