Although a low numbered RM this bus has a newer body with opening front windows received on overhaul in January 1980. See photo 6686 for the non opening front window body. The bus was transferred to Potter Bar in September 1982 and on to Finchley in April 1983. This bus had a varied life after withdrawal from LT service in December 1986. Serving with Strathtay Scottish until 1994, Reading Mainline until 1999 and then repurchased and refurbished by LT (TFL as it was by then) for further service in 2000. It ran on the route 13 from August 2001 until October 2005 as part of the ultimate withdrawal of the RM from LT service. With the final RMs withdrawn with the conversion of route 159 in December that year. RM191 was converted for use as an Afternoon Tea Tour bus in central London in early 2014.
