hi, I was a friend of David Selves. He lived in Holly Park Rd. Any relation? Rufus.
I remember the: measure twice - cut once. It has kept me in good standing for all of my life.

The wood work department was in the prefab building. I became a commercial diver. Believe it or not, divers had to use wood work skills on deck. Mr Barnum's voice often came to mind whilst working on a project. Good old Bad old days.

I remember Mr.Barnum as the woodwork teacher at Friern Barnet County School would have been 1963.Trouble is I did not recognise him as I think he would have probably been nearing retirement by then.Holly Park was then closed around 1959 ish .

Dear John, Thank you for your message. David was a very good friend to me. I used to live in France, down south, in Antibes and other places. I would so love to make contact with David. My tel is 07517118797. Has David Lived in France for long? so I am sure he speaks French, as do I. I hope you are able to call me as there are a few things I can tell you that I cannot write here.
