On Saturday 25 February 2015 Councillor Lisa Rutter and Mayor of Barnet Hugh Rayner unveil a descriptive plaque in Russell Lane which gives the history of the road. The history of Russell Lane was prepared by John Heathfield, President of Friern Barnet & District Local History Society
